AIRLINE NEWS

New Uniforms
Our groovy new uniforms are jazzing up Cebu Pacific flights now! These simple and chic orange polo shirts are made by Bench, another world-class Filipino company, and will be worn by all our cabin crew and ground personnel — one is modeled by our CEO, Mr Lance Gokongwei in our opening Welcome Message. The new outfits are smart and stylish. Pants, jackets and skirts come in a choice of beige and tan and are comfortable and practical, meaning we can be even more efficient getting things done for you as we whizz around the aircraft.

Bangkok Bulletin
We love Bangkok! And, so it seems, do you. Due to great demand, we are now flying daily to Bangkok so we can all enjoy even better access to this thrilling city. We leave Manila at 10.45pm, so you can comfortably nip off after work. Flights arrive in Bangkok at 12.50am so dash straight to your hotel and wake up to a full action-packed day. You can also hop on a coach and be in one of Thailand’s fantastic island destinations by morning. Our return flight leaves at 1.35am and brings you back to Manila at 5.40am. Go straight to work and you minimize the holiday you need to take! Best of all, the lowest “Go” fare to Bangkok starts from PHP2,999 one-way!

Web Wipeout!
Well, we don’t like to brag, but we wanted to share the good news with you… we’re the country’s most visited travel website! The information is based on the Alexa Top Site report — a company that provides web traffic statistics — and it ranks us 147 among all the sites visited from the Philippines as of 2 May 2007. The Cebu Pacific website is simply the easiest way to travel around the country. It offers the lowest fares and updated flight schedules, and availability in real-time so you can get confirmation there and then. We’ve sold almost two million seats via www.cebupacificair.com in the last 12 months alone and we’re sure this is set to increase over the next year. So there’s no reason not to plan that special holiday away, whether you’re booking far ahead, or at the last minute — www.cebupacificair.com has the answer!

Travel with Confidence! Insurance:
Don’t worry about personal accidents or emergencies when taking a well earned holiday. Just take advantage of our newest offering, TravelSure, which offers comprehensive insurance coverage for guests of Cebu Pacific flying anywhere in the Philippines or Asia. Candice Iyog, Vice President for Marketing and Product announced: “What’s new about this product is that guests, who wish to purchase travel insurance, may do so, online right after booking for their flight.”

Our partner is Malayan Insurance, one of the oldest and most reliable insurance companies in the country and the coverage includes protection from accidents, medical services, recovery of lost travel documents and much more. You can check out the full list on our website: www.cebupacificair.com. It’s available to everyone from one to 65 years old and is a mere PHP175 for 30 days of coverage (exclusive of tax and charges). Furthermore, we are the only Philippine carrier offering this service! More information on TravelSure is available online at www.cebupacificair.com or through the TravelSure hotline at (+632) 242-8888.

More guests than ever
Back in April we celebrated welcoming our 20 millionth passenger onboard and in the next few months this record looks set to be broken further. We’re so excited about the number of guests choosing to fly with Cebu Pacific Air. This year we look forward to carrying over five million passengers, an increase of 45% from 2006.

14 Brand NEW ATR72 Aircraft Coming Soon!
More exciting news! We are expanding our fleet with the purchase of up to 14 brand new ATR72 aircraft, that can carry 72 people. Worth more than US$250 million, six orders are confirmed and there is the possibility of eight further planes. Two of the aircraft will arrive in 2008 and the deliveries will be completed by 2013. Caticlan (and many more!), here we come!

Our favorites!
Here are some of our favorite pictures that didn’t make it into the top eleven of our competition. It’s great to see so many people snapping away onboard and thanks for taking the time to participate.
