In an incredible coup, Cebu Pacific Air is now the country’s number one domestic airline! We’re carrying more passengers than anyone else and from January to June this year, we flew 2,256,289 of you, flying with an average 84 per cent load! Our nearest competitors carried less than two million passengers. A whopping 72 per cent more passengers flew to domestic routes with us, compared to the same figure last year and this had an impact on the travel figures of the country as a whole. Additional frequency from Cebu to Hong Kong and NEW route Cebu to Cagayan de Oro
Cebu Pacific Air now flies from Cebu directly to Cagayan de Oro three times a week, on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Convenient lunchtime departures mean it’s never been easier to get from one place to the next, and the flight is only 45 minutes!

Look out for another new A320 plane!
October sees the arrival of another new Airbus A320 plane. This is the last delivery of the year but more will be coming in 2008! Our new plane takes to the skies in early November, so keep your eyes peeled, or simply buy a ticket to try one out yourself. Cebu Pacific has the youngest fleet in the Philippines (and one of the youngest in Asia) with an average age of just over a year old.
Smile’s an award-winner!
Smile’s first issue has won Gold Prize in the prestigious PATA (Pacific Asia Travel Association) awards. Out of only four awards for journalism, Cebu Pacific Air’s Smile magazine was one of the lucky winners for our picture of a calesa by photojournalist and picture editor Lester V Ledesma.
