Macau isn’t really a ‘party’ town in the strictest sense of the word. To the Chinese visitors (who make up the vast majority of tourists), gambling is serious business! A night at Sands casino for cheap cocktails, cheap thrills and camp comedy value is pretty special.

Probably Crown. At least, it is the only hotel which unabashedly calls itself a six-star hotel. I can’t comment on the rooms, but the bars are quite possibly my spiritual home – not a single piece of stretchy gold lame nor a sequin in sight.

P’gsalabuk is a monthlong festivity celebrated in May. It’s a Subanen term which means ‘togetherness’ - it depicts the harmonious relationship of the Tri-people of Mindanao (the Christians, Muslims and the Lumads); as it promotes ‘unity amidst diversity’.

I love Dipolog because.
Of its unique blend of the traditional and the contemporary. ‘The City of The Free’ has always been blessed with peace, serenity, clean air and greenery, rich marine resources, fresh fruits, a geographical location that is outside the typhoon belt, and warm and hospitable locals called Dipolognons.
