MANG KIKO’S LECHON
What it is A hawker stall that specializes in roasted or grilled meats. Lechon means “suckling pig” in Spanish but is also known as a cooking method in the Philippines
Crowd pleasers Filling portions of lechon baboy (pork), manok (chicken) and liempo (pork belly) served hot off the grill. What it is A restaurant named after Filipino hero Andres Bonifacio and owned by wushu champs Picasso Tan and Lester Pimentel as well as stunt director Ace Wang
Crowd pleasers The sisig is spiced just right, while the crispy pata is juicy and not too greasy. Stews like beef kaldereta and kare kare are also rich and satisfying. Start with the chicken binakol, Bicol Express and ensaladang talong, and end the meal with the highly recommended mango cheesecake and turon with caramel sauce.
